Iomega's Clik! drive was doomed by its name and the rise of flash storage
In 1999 Iomega launched the Clik! drive, a cheap 40 MB PCMCIA storage disk that was immediately hobbled by its unfortunate name and the unstoppable rise of flash memory. The format was dead by 2002.
